THE DATE FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING HAS BEEN REVISED TO OCTOBER 28TH.
The Annual Meeting of the POA for Coves Phase II will be October 28th at 10am. More information will be provided soon.
Pursuant to our Covenants, there will be elections in October:
(c) Election of Board of Directors Election of the Directors of the Association shall be conducted at the Annual POA Meeting or a Special POA Meeting in which all owners are given Notice. Those present without outstanding dues owed to the association shall have one (1) vote per lot owned. Owners that have no outstanding dues owed to the association may request to be on the ballot for any vacancy on the Board of Directors in a timeframe determined by the Board of Directors. Non-owners, including representatives of owners, shall be prohibited from holding a position on the Board of Directors. The President of the Association shall have the authority to appoint enough directors to establish a quorum if quorum cannot be achieved, in which temporary directors will be elected or replaced during the full POA Meeting by a vote of the majority of owners present at the meeting. Nominees that receive the majority of votes from those present at the full POA meeting shall hold said office for a period of two (2) years plus any time beyond two (2) years until the following scheduled Annual Board Meeting, unless the Director resigns or is removed from office by a simple majority vote of the Board of Directors or simple majority vote of the full membership of the POA.
This year we will have the following elections:
President: POA President Kris Paxton will be stepping down as POA President at the 2023 meeting and a new President will be named.
At-Large: Derek Lisle will be at the end of his first term on the Board. There are no term limits.
Treasurer: This is a vacant position.
