
There will be a Special Meeting of the POA currently scheduled for October 7th, 2020. The meeting will be held in the Coves II Facebook Group via Video Chat. The Agenda for this meeting will be published by October 1st. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to facilitate the transition of the POA from Rausch Coleman to the Owners by an ELECTION of a new Board of Directors. The election will be conducted by a Roll Call Vote by NAME & ADDRESS. Owners will be required to state “I am the Owner + their name” and then cast their vote. All meetings will be recorded for record.
We should identify grant opportunities like “Neighborhood Enhancement Matching”, “Love Your Block Grant” etc. I didn’t find any such programs available on our City website at this time. Hope we will find similar programs sometime soon.
I have been looking at this. I also have been working with the City of Fayetteville on matching “grant” type options and use of City Labor for some project proposals. I have a couple of the early groundwork items for those on upcoming agendas.

I was wondering if we need to look in to options for obtaining tax exempt status to CovesII POA. Let me know your thoughts on this issue.

We will definitely be looking at a lot of things over the next few months. Before we can take any actions, we have to begin by getting control of the Board of Directors. After that we can get control of the finances, and begin making decisions, but until then we don’t have access to any of the official records or have authority to make any decisions.
